Design, build, and maintain TypeScript-based test automation frameworks and end-to-end, integration, and unit tests for fintech payment products. Develop mock services and test data factories, use AI/LLM tools to accelerate test generation and anomaly detection, and own coverage for ACH, wire, card processing, settlement, and banking integrations while identifying transaction and reporting risks.
We are looking for a Software Developer Engineer in Test based in Latin America to work on a long-term project for one of our clients, a Software Development company, based in San Francisco, CA.
Our client is a crypto wallet company that provides a user-friendly, secure digital wallet for managing cryptocurrencies, tokens, NFTs, and decentralized apps (dApps), originally built for the Solana blockchain, and now supporting Ethereum, Polygon, and Bitcoin as well.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using TypeScript.
- Build end-to-end, integration, and unit test suites for fintech products, including ACH processing, payment rails, and core banking services.
- Develop and maintain mock services and test data factories for financial transaction flow.
- Leverage AI tools and LLM-based testing agents to accelerate test generation, anomaly detection, and coverage analysis.
- Own test coverage for payment flows, including ACH transfers, wire transactions, card processing, and settlement reconciliation.
- Test integrations with banking core systems, payment processors, and third-party financial APIs.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to transaction integrity, data accuracy, and financial reporting.
Requirements
- Advanced Level of English.
- 4+ years of experience as an SDET, QA Engineer, or Software Engineer with a strong testing focus.
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript; ability to write clean, maintainable test and production-quality code.
- Hands-on experience testing fintech products, payments, lending, and banking.
- Deep familiarity with traditional finance concepts: ACH, wire transfers, card networks, settlement, reconciliation, and core banking.
- Experience with AI/ML testing methodologies or integrating AI tools into QA workflows.
- Expertise with test frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent TypeScript-native tools.
