We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Analyst, Ethics & Compliance to support governance and implementation of our regulatory compliance management program. In this role, you will contribute to the successful execution of Enbridge’s Permit Acquisition and Compliance Management processes while supporting systems and reporting needs. You’ll collaborate across teams to enhance compliance practices and drive continuous improvement.

What You Will Do:

  • Monitor and track changes to applicable laws, regulations, permits, and regulatory guidance relevant to Enbridge operations.

  • Provide operational support, troubleshooting, and data maintenance for compliance systems (Enablon) and enterprise tools (e.g., Power BI, Teams, Power Apps).

  • Track regulatory commitments and compliance tasks, ensuring deadlines are met and risks are escalated appropriately.

  • Support permit acquisition tracking and review project permit requests for completeness and accuracy.

  • Maintain compliance data quality, including entry and validation within Encompass (Enablon).

  • Assist with compliance audits, internal reviews, and self-assessments, including evidence collection and control testing.

  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries to provide insights on compliance performance, risks, and trends.

Who You Are:

  • Related university degree or diploma (e.g., Policy, Computer Science, Business/Commerce, Science or Engineering preferred).

  • 2+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, environment, project management, or related fields (energy industry preferred.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information clearly.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.

  • Proven ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

  • Analytical mindset with experience supporting reporting, data analysis, or compliance systems.

  • Experience with tools such as Encompass (Enablon), Power BI, or Power Apps would be an asset.

  • Experience coordinating management reporting across a diverse stakeholder group is considered an asset.

  • Experience in crafting, reviewing, editing policies and procedures is regarded as an advantage.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment

  • Occasional travel to Enbridge office locations

Salary Ranges from $75,000.00 – $95,00.00 CAD for Ontario locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.

Physical Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement.

Mental Requirements:

Include but are not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
