About the role 

​​As a Creative Strategist at Fortis, you will define and drive the creative direction behind our marketing and user acquisition campaigns, helping shape how players discover and connect with our games.

Your focus will be on transforming gameplay features, audience insights, and performance data into compelling creative concepts that attract, engage, and convert players.

You will sit at the intersection of marketing, creative production, and product teams, ensuring that every piece of creative is strategically grounded, performance-driven, and optimized for scale.

What you will achieve
  • Develop data-informed creative strategies for user acquisition, growth, and store presence
    Generate strong hooks, concepts, and messaging angles tailored to target audiences
    Translate gameplay features and player motivations into compelling ad narratives
    Write clear and actionable creative briefs to guide artists, editors, and production teams
  • Analyze creative performance metrics and extract actionable insights to improve results
    Partner with UA and analytics teams to interpret test results and define next iterations
    Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities across campaigns and competitors
    Build performance summaries to inform future creative direction
  • Define testing frameworks and creative experimentation roadmaps
    Continuously iterate on concepts based on performance learnings
    Balance speed, quality, and testing volume to maximize campaign impact
    Champion a test-and-learn culture with rapid iteration
  • Collaborate closely with producers, artists, and technical teams to align execution with strategy
    Provide structured and constructive feedback to ensure assets meet strategic and performance goals
    Partner with product marketing to ensure messaging aligns with game positioning
    Support external vendors when needed to ensure quality and alignment
  • Monitor competitor creatives, platform trends, and emerging formats
    Identify opportunities for differentiation and new creative approaches
    Bring fresh ideas to keep campaigns relevant and engaging
What you will need to be successful 
  • Experience in Creative Strategy, Performance Creative, User Acquisition, or Marketing Strategy roles
  • Strong understanding of performance marketing principles and creative testing methodologies
  • Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable creative direction
  • Excellent storytelling, copywriting, and communication skills
  • Experience writing creative briefs and guiding production teams
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Collaborative mindset and comfort working cross-functionally
  • Strategic thinker who balances creativity with measurable outcomes
  • Experience in mobile games, live service products, or performance-driven environments is highly valued
  • Familiarity with major ad platforms and their creative best practices
  • Understanding of player motivations and behavioral segmentation
  • Experience using analytics or creative reporting tools
  • Interest in leveraging AI tools to enhance creative ideation, testing, and iteration workflows
