Job Description

This specific role is to support the Summit Health Multi-Specialty business within VillageMD. As an integral member of the Summit Health Finance team, you will report directly to our Summit Health CFO and support regional finance leaders with financial reporting, budgeting, analytics, and forecasting.  In this role, you will experience a broad exposure to many areas within VillageMD / Summit Health and the opportunity to learn in grow in a fast paced and explosively growing entity. 

How you can make a difference  

  • Responsible for annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting for assigned Summit Health markets and Service Lines.
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and modeling to support critical business decisions by senior management.
  • Drive capital and strategic investment decisions through robust financial analyses
  • Lead close processes for assigned markets and service lines.
  • Manage a team to support business objectives and foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Responsible for monthly financial reporting and analytics for Village Medical nationally. 
  • Partner with Regional Vice President of Operations to identify and execute on financial and operational initiatives.
  • Responsible for 2 Direct Reports (Manager Level)

Experience to drive change

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting role (healthcare experience preferred) or 5 years plus graduate school experience.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-growing company
  • Experience and interest in researching solutions for problems encountered
  • Ability to learn quickly, think independently, and develop new processes/analyses as required
  • A desire to drive results, execute on tasks, and prioritize deadlines
  • A desire to innovate and improve, and build relationships internally and externally
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word required

This is an exempt or non-exempt position. The base compensation range for this role is $119,900 - $149,900.  At VillageMD, compensation is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, location, etc.  The selected candidate will be eligible for a valuable company benefits plan, including health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, and access to a 401k plan.
