Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition for Western Canada, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator will be responsible for administrative support and full cycle recruitment of entry level salaried hires supporting our Operations and Corporate groups.
This position will be based out of the Calgary office.What You Will Be Working On
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team with position postings, offer letters and other administrative tasks within Workday. 
  • Support the Talent Acquisition team in conducting full cycle recruitment of junior or entry level salaried roles. 
  • Assist TA team with reference and background checks
  • Maintain job description library within SharePoint
  • Manage LinkedIn Recruiter profile by maintaining and updating all job postings. 
  • Manage employment inquiries (resumes, applications, telephone calls, walk-ins). 
  • Manage the Employee Referral Bonuses program. 
  • During peak hiring periods, assist the Talent Acquisition team in conducting first-level phone screens, confirming credentials and work experience based on site specific safety conditions and requirements. 
  • Other duties as directed by the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition. 
What We Are Looking For
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business or related field an asset
  • 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative capacity within Talent Acquisition or Human Resources
  • A desire to develop a career within Talent Acquisition or Human Resources
  • Experience working within Workday or an ATS system an asset 
  • Self-motivated, action oriented and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a positive attitude 
  • Proven planning and organizational skills, high attention to detail and exceptional ability to follow through 
  • Strong customer service philosophy 
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written; thoughtful, proactive, creative 
  • Flexible and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; meet the time demands of unpredictable activities; capable of handling pressure and challenges in a dynamic, fast paced environment 
  • Evidence of sound judgement in supporting the overall success of the team and efficiently and 
  • Effectively completing tasks, assignments and projects while adding value in the process
