The AESO is at the forefront of the energy transition, and this is your opportunity to make a mark on the Alberta electricity industry. We are seeking a curious analyst to join our team to support the operation of the tariff to ensure that it’s applied fairly and consistently. This role will focus on the connection project-side of the ISO tariff, which can be variable paced and case-by-case in nature. Accountabilities include:
Work with internal AESO teams to advance connection projects. This includes ensuring that the ISO tariff is being followed and applied properly, and reviewing how project costs are allocated for accuracy.
Review and process customer requests for waivers.
Monitor and analyze customer data for reporting and reassessment.
Support the design side of our team by implementing changes to the tariff, and designing internal tariff processes.
Build relationships with internal teams to understand their unique perspectives and interactions with the ISO tariff.
Support other deliverables, as required.

You have:
An undergraduate degree in engineering, business, economics, mathematics or equivalent, or experience equivalent to a degree or designation.
Minimum of 2 years of professional working experience.
Understanding of the electric utilities would be an asset.
