Our Underwriting Managers customize solutions for our commercial clients as well as lead and develop a team of underwriters.  They work closely with our extensive broker network to develop unique solutions for all classes of risk. They are people-centric leaders who truly care about the development of their teams and invest in their career growth.
They are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our brokers – this means emails and phone calls don’t go unanswered, and in-person broker meetings are regularly penned into their calendars. They also pay attention to the smallest of details, while working closely with our Actuarial and Claims Departments.

We want your talent
If you are great at:

  • Commercial Underwriting (Property, Casualty, Auto)

  • Evaluation, documentation, selection, and pricing for assigned policies

  • Sales & Negotiation

  • Developing and maintaining a professional relationship with brokers and/or customers

  • Coaching & Mentoring

  • Operational leadership

And you have:

  • 10+ years of Commercial Underwriting experience (Construction experience is an asset)

  • 3 years of leadership experience

  • Experience with overseeing change management

  • Completed, or pursuing your CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designations

  • Strong customer service background
