The VP of Revenue Marketing at Drata will lead a talented team of marketers and make a huge impact across the business. The person in this role will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies, leveraging digital channels and data-driven insights to acquire new customers and increase customer lifetime value. Reporting to Drata’s Chief Operations Officer in the interim, you will establish and implement campaign strategies that drive an efficient and predictable pipeline contributing to the achievement of our revenue goals.

This leadership role is highly cross-functional, partnering with leaders across all functions to establish and advance our position in the market and drive awareness and demand for our industry-leading offerings. You are an effective communicator and collaborator with a demonstrated history of diving in when needed, but you also know how to build a team that functions at the highest caliber of expertise.

What you’ll do:

  • Define and refine the company's revenue marketing strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives and market dynamics.
  • Build, manage, and inspire a high-performing marketing team with deep expertise in their areas.
  • Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns, determining the optimal mix across digital, content, SEO/SEM, email, social media, events, and partnerships.
  • Partner with SDR and Marketing Operations to drive lead generation, leveraging marketing automation and conversion rate optimization.
  • Build a strong field marketing and events function to drive account-based strategies, revenue acceleration, retention, and acquisition.
  • Collaborate with Customer Marketing to enhance engagement and NRR through personalized communication, upsell/cross-sell efforts, and events.
  • Use data analytics, A/B testing, and marketing automation tools to track performance, uncover insights, and optimize ROI.
  • Work with brand and communications teams to refine messaging and balance investments in brand awareness and demand capture.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with sales, product management, and other teams to align on strategy and execution.
  • Report key performance metrics, growth opportunities, and progress toward revenue targets to senior leadership.
  • Scale the team globally and build strong partner ecosystems.

What you’ll bring:

  • 10+ years of proven work experience as a VP of Marketing, Marketing Director or other senior role
  • Proven experience defining and executing revenue marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Track record of building and leading high-performing, collaborative marketing teams  including partnerships and regional expansions.
  • Expertise in managing multi-channel campaigns, including digital, content, SEO/SEM, social media, and events.
  • Experience driving lead generation and optimizing conversion rates through marketing automation tools and analytics.
  • Strong background in account-based marketing, field marketing, and event strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Demonstrated success partnering with customer marketing teams to improve retention and NRR through personalized engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency in leveraging data and A/B testing to measure performance and enhance marketing ROI.
  • Skilled at collaborating with brand and communications teams to refine messaging and balance brand and demand marketing efforts.
  • History of working cross-functionally with sales, product, and other teams to align strategies and achieve goals.
  • Experience presenting performance metrics and growth insights to senior leadership.
