The Vice President Product Manager for Global Equity Compensation and Workplace Wealth Initiatives will shape and deliver digital experiences across web and mobile for Morgan Stanley at Work clients and their employees globally. This role blends product discovery, execution excellence, and strong risk and control partnership to deliver a best-in-class workplace wealth journey.

In this role, you will help create best-in-class experiences for corporate clients and their employees—ranging from private to public companies, from small businesses to global enterprise leaders.

Department Overview

In the Wealth Management division, we help people, businesses and institutions build, preserve, and manage wealth so they can pursue their financial goals

 Wealth Management (WM) Platforms manages industry-leading platforms, across all WM channels and client segments, to provide a unified digital experience, unlock growth, and deliver efficiencies for Advisors, Clients, and Institutions. WM Platforms consists of ten sub-teams including: Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow, Digital Trading & Investing, Generative AI, UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution, WM Platforms Risk, and the Chief Operating Office.

What you’ll do in the role:

  • Define and deliver key features as part of the Global Equity Compensation and Workplace Wealth digital strategy through delivery of online and mobile customer experience enhancements.
  • Oversee projects from initial market discovery and requirement gathering (PRDs/User Stories) to successful go-to-market (GTM) launches and post-launch iteration.
  • Contribute to strategic, executive-ready materials that support decision-making with clear roadmaps, value based metrics, risks, and investment needs.
  • Work with cross-functional technology teams (product, user experience, technology) to design and deliver new products, features, and enhancements.
  • Write clear product requirements (PRDs, epics, and user stories) including business rules, acceptance criteria, and edge cases to integrate equity compensation experiences.
  • Partner with legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure products adhere to global regulations and maintain a sound risk posture.
  • Define and track success metrics to effectively manage product profitability, including budgeting, cost optimization, and tracking ROI for new features developed.

Skills Required:

  • 7+ years of experience in a product owner/manager/analyst capacity or related product role.
  • Financial acumen: deep knowledge of financial domains, such as payments, global trading, banking infrastructure, global equity plan management.
  • Ability to use SQL and other data analytics tools to derive insights from vast financial datasets, track KPIs, and understand user behavior to drive data driven decision making
  • Technical literacy in high level architecture principles, API design and data modeling
  • High empathy, with a focus on strong user experience to simplify complex workflows
  • Agile mastery, with proficiency in Scrum, Agile, and Kanban, with an ability to adapt to processes in large, complex organizations.
  • Familiarity with emerging trends in technology. Proficient in use of Gen AI tools, understanding of LLMs, and application in product development.
  • High interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence across large organizations
  • Ability to develop compelling product strategy and deliver solutions with strong written communication and technical writing.
