About the role

We’re looking for a Communications Advisor II to join our growing team!
What you’ll do here:

  • Support and develop integrated, clear, and concise communication materials and programs for employees, customers and brokers.
  • Ensure all communications support the organization’s brand and image, which is consistent with that image and promotes achievement of the organization’s objectives.
  • Liaise with department directors, managers and staff on the development and execution of communication strategies and deliverables that are creative, effective and reflect high quality work.
  • Oversee requests from various stakeholders and thoughtfully create and edit a wide variety of communication materials (e.g., key messages, communication plans, tactical deliverables, etc.).
  • Provide writing, editing and ongoing maintenance support for all internal and external print and digital assets and presentations.

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications/mass media/editing, or any combination of equivalent education and experience
  • At least 5 years of experience
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite of tools
  • Knowledge of Adobe Campaign software is an asset
  • Knowledge of current trends in Web communication, digital tools and the use of multimedia, an asset
  • Knowledge of the insurance industry is an asset
  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.
  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
