What You'll Be Doing
- Maintain, repair, and replace mechanical systems and related equipment to ensure reliable site operations.
- Perform field inspections and preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment to ensure safe and efficient performance.
- Detect, troubleshoot, and respond to equipment irregularities, malfunctions, and operational issues.
- Anticipate potential problems and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance.
- Operate machining tools to fabricate and modify parts as required for maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies while following manufacturer maintenance procedures and guidelines.
What Are We Looking For
- Experience working in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments with a strong focus on equipment maintenance and reliability.
- Valid Canadian Interprovincial or Red Seal Millwright certification.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read, interpret, and work from mechanical schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues and perform technical work using appropriate tools and systems.
- Physically capable of working in indoor and outdoor environments, lifting 50+ lbs., working at heights, and performing tasks that require kneeling, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and working in confined or awkward positions.
