The role requires C++ and Python expertise for real-time distributed systems, web-based mission interfaces, streaming sensor data, networking, and secure remote debugging. The position is on-site in Calgary and requires eligibility for Government of Canada security clearance.

Develop and maintain embedded Linux software for an unmanned flight and mission computer, including BSPs, kernel drivers, bootloaders, real-time components, and application software. Integrate sensors, actuators, and communication systems across ARM hardware. Build CI/CD and hardware-in-the-loop testing, debug with hardware tools, contribute to system architecture, and support bench and field testing of flight-critical electronics.
