Develops and maintains instrumentation design documentation, including instrument indexes, data sheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, hook-ups, wiring details, and layouts. Uses Hexagon SmartPlant Instrumentation to manage design data and coordinates instrumentation interfaces with DCS, PLC, and SIS systems. Collaborates with multidisciplinary engineering teams, reviews vendor and contractor documentation, supports field investigations and commissioning, resolves design conflicts, and maintains quality project deliverables. The role may provide site and client support and technical guidance to junior designers.

Designs, reviews, and supports instrumentation and control systems for energy and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include developing instrumentation specifications, data sheets, indexes, I/O lists, loop diagrams, and related documentation; managing instrumentation databases in SmartPlant Instrumentation; coordinating DCS, PLC, and SIS interfaces; collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, vendors, and contractors; and providing construction, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and field support.
