Build and enforce workload safety standards across Affirm’s Amazon EKS fleet. Responsibilities include Kubernetes resource management, workload isolation, disruption handling, cluster capacity planning, policy automation, production debugging, and fleet-wide infrastructure improvements. The role leads cross-team initiatives, mentors engineers, participates in Kubernetes runtime on-call, analyzes resource profiles, and measures impacts on availability, latency, risk, and cost.

Leads merchant acquisition and activation marketing programs through platform and ISV channels. Conduct research, develop prototypes, and collaborate with engineering, credit, and product teams to deliver machine learning products from inception through business impact.

Develop and ship web, mobile, and API features for Affirm’s card acquisition experience. Break projects into deliverable phases, collaborate with product, design, and analytics, write tested and extensible code, support production availability through metrics and on-call activities, review code, and contribute to interviewing and team development.

Own go-to-market operations for strategic product and pricing initiatives. Segment customers, manage legal and pricing eligibility, build field tools and playbooks, track adoption, analyze performance, and identify launch risks. Translate cross-functional inputs into executable processes for sales and customer-facing teams while recommending improvements based on field feedback and data.

Contribute to fullstack search engineering projects, developing and launching scalable backend systems and user-facing solutions. Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders, balance speed and quality, protect system reliability, navigate large codebases, debug code, participate in reviews, and communicate effectively. The role supports growth through feedback and development activities.

Designs and presents scalable payment and checkout solutions for enterprise merchants. Leads technical discovery, solution architecture, custom integrations, demos, and pre-sales support while partnering with Sales, Engineering, Product, and partner teams. Advises customers, identifies technical risks, influences product development, creates reusable enablement materials, and supports successful implementations. Requires strong expertise in payments, fintech, APIs, SaaS, enterprise architecture, and e-commerce or point-of-sale checkout systems.

Own the operational health of strategic merchant integrations through monitoring, troubleshooting, SLA delivery, root-cause analysis, and technical inquiry resolution. Design custom API integration solutions, lead cross-functional technical initiatives, influence product roadmaps, develop playbooks and runbooks, manage strategic accounts, and mentor other Technical Account Managers.
