The Senior Java Developer will enhance Elasticsearch's distributed systems, maintain high performance, and solve complex problems related to data indexing and coordination across multiple machines.

Provide in-house product and IP legal counsel across patent prosecution, IP portfolio management, brand protection, open-source licensing, and product launch readiness. Support invention harvesting, draft and review IP-related commercial contract clauses, assist with AI governance and trade compliance, conduct legal research and diligence, and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, privacy, and commercial teams.

Lead vision, strategy, and execution for the Elastic Agent Builder to enable scalable context for AI agents. Engage enterprise customers and sales to capture requirements, define roadmap for context engineering, benchmark agent capabilities with data science, design UX for context refinement, and evangelize capabilities to partners and the developer community.

Lead product efforts for logs and logs analytics within Elastic Observability. Evolve logs collection, ingest, management, and analytics features (GenAI integration, automated SLO/SLI, intelligent alerting, correlation of logs/metrics/traces). Collaborate with engineering, UX, design, sales and marketing to drive adoption and track user feedback.
