Design and implement carrier-grade embedded real-time firmware for optical line systems. Collaborate with hardware/FPGA and optical engineers to develop low-level device drivers, control algorithms on Linux/FreeRTOS, and gRPC-based interfaces. Provide design estimates, follow development processes, and sustain legacy products while supporting new product development.

Support NPI and sustaining engineering for routing hardware by managing product data, change control (ECO/MCO/Stop Orders), and BOM health. Develop custom queries, adapt SQL/Sequel for evolving product structures, implement data models, and create PLM workflows while coordinating across hardware, software, and product line management.

Lead standardization strategy for optical transport and Ethernet technologies, develop and advocate contributions to standards bodies (ITU‑T, IEEE, OIF, OpenROADM), coordinate with PLMs and R&D, report progress internally, provide technical influence and guidance, and represent Nokia at standards meetings and industry events.

Lead architecture and design of DWDM/OTN optical transport systems, translate customer requirements into system and functional specifications, guide cross-functional teams, produce detailed architectural documentation, and ensure alignment across hardware, software, verification, and documentation for carrier-grade networking products.

Design, model, and test high-speed electrical interconnects for optoelectronic modules. Collaborate with PIC, ASIC, TROSA, and module teams to define requirements, design RF structures, develop test vehicles, coordinate fabrication with vendors, and perform high-speed measurements and data analysis to advance next-generation optical module products.

Design, implement, test, and document firmware for next-generation optical engines (long-haul, metro, DCI). Collaborate with optical, hardware, FPGA, software, manufacturing, and test teams, debug customer issues, support manufacturing knowledge transfer, and improve firmware development processes and test documentation.

As a Senior Electrical PCB Layout Designer, you will design high-speed PCB layouts, collaborate with engineers, and optimize layouts for performance while ensuring manufacturability.

The Advanced PCB Technology Engineer explores new technologies, engages suppliers, oversees failure analysis, and collaborates with hardware designers in product design for telecom applications.

Responsible for managing wafer level testing processes to improve yield, overseeing test equipment, and coordinating with external suppliers and engineering teams.

Design and execute automated system- and solution-level tests (Python) for optical pluggable products, collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile, maintain test scripts in Git, report test execution and defects, and drive continuous QA improvements and compatibility testing with third-party equipment.
